Chaos Nicolive 17/11/2016

Hello everyone! Nicolive was held again today, focusing mainly on the events being held the coming months. New title announcements were done on the last live, so do check it out if you missed the new titles joining us!

With Re:Zero coming out in a week’s time, this session focused mainly on the cards of the next release, Qualidea Code. More info after the break

First up, the PR card given for joining the Re:Zero release Title cup:

1
[Entry] (Put 1 of your [Same OS] character from [Face Up][Stand] to [Face Down][Reverse].)
[Trespass] (Put 1 character card from your hand to the waiting room, return 1 [Face Up] friend to your hand.)
[Auto] When your [Same OS] character Enters other than by [Trespass], until the end of the turn, this character gets +2 ATK.
[Penetrate]

Simple effect that we have seen in many titles, what makes this PR special is the number of ways Re:Zero has to enter characters every turn. Note that entry of Extra are included as well, which makes this PR really strong in Rem deck.

Onto Qualidea Code’s Title Extra(self named):
2
[Battle][Extra Deck OK][Face Down OK](Put this card from [Face Down] to [Face Up], return 1 [Face Up] friend that has not participated in battle this turn to your hand.) Enter a character with the same name as the character that was returned to hand as cost for this effect from your hand or the waiting room, ignoring [Entry] if any, then draw 1 card. After that, until the end of the turn, you cannot use the [Battle] of <<Qualidea Code>>.
Simple effect that lets you call out a heavy entry cost character while keeping your hand size, this card can be used as a combo with the next few cards as well.

3
[Entry](Put 1 of your characters from [Face Up][Stand] to [Face Down][Reverse].)
[Trespass](Put 1 card from your hand to the waiting room, put 1 of your [Face Up] friend to the waiting room.)
[Auto] When this character Enters, Level up or Auto level up, choose 1 of the 3 following:
-Until the end of the turn, 1 target character gets +2 ATK and [Penetrate].
-Until the end of the turn, 1 target character gets +3/+3.
-Look at up to the top 3 cards of your deck, rearrange and return them to the top of your deck. After that, you may draw 1 card.

Really useful on your own turn to get 1 of your characters [Penetrate] in battle, while the choice for stats or to control your top deck may prove handy during your defensive turn.

4
[Entry](Put 2 [Same OS] character cards from your hand to the waiting room.)
[Auto] When this character Enters, Level up or Auto level up, choose 2 of the following 3, and resolve them in any order.
-Until the end of the turn, nullify 1 target character’s [Penetrate].
-Until the end of the turn, choose ATK or DEF, 1 target character gets +2 to the chosen parameter.
-Until the end of the turn, this character gets [First Strike].
[Penetrate]

Hime smash! Being able to choose 2 of the effects makes her a good choice to enter with the Qualidea Code extra, especially with her built in [Penetrate] and the heavy entry cost.

5
[Entry](Put 1 of your character from [Face Up][Stand] to [Face Down][Reverse].)
[Trespass](Put 1 card from your hand to the waiting room, put 1 of your [Face Up] friend to the waiting room.)
[Auto] When this character Enter or Level up or Auto level up, you may put 1 target opponent’s friend to [Rest].
[Penetrate]

Again, another effect that we usually see in most titles, this card gets a whole new dimension as a tech card with the Qualidea Code extra. Being able to rest a high attack friend during your opponent’s turn will definitely screw some plans up.

6
[Entry](Draw 2 cards, put 1 card from your hand to the waiting room.)
[Auto] At the start of the battle phase, if you have 2 or more [Face Up] friend on the arena, until the end of the turn, 1 of your target character other than this character gets 1 of the [Battle] of this character.
[Battle][Turn 1](Reveal the top card of your deck, and put it to the bottom of your deck.) Until the end of the turn, choose ATK or DEF, and 1 target character gets +2 to the chosen parameter. If the card revealed as cost for this ability is an event card, you may draw 1 card.

A really strong character that can be played both as partner or as a friend, duplicating her ability to give stats to a character while preventing your partner card from being the last card.

7
[Entry](Put 1 of your character from [Face Up][Stand] to [Face Down][Reverse].)
[Trespass](Put 1 card from your hand to the waiting room, put 1 of your [Face Up] friend to the waiting room.)
[Auto] When this character Enter, Level up or Auto level up, you may put 1 target opponent’s Extra friend to [Face Down].
[Penetrate]

Another great choice to enter with the Qualidea Code Extra, facing down a potential attacker during battle phase has never been easier.

8
[Use](Put 1 card in your Extra Deck from [Face Down] to [Face Up].)
Choose 1 from the following 3. If you have 3 or more [Face Up] cards in your Extra Deck, instead choose 2, and resolve them in any order. After that, put this card to the backyard.
-Put 1 card from your Extra Deck from [Face Up] to [Face Down].
-Recover all damage taken on 1 of your target [Same OS] character.
-You may put 1 card from your hand to the waiting room. If you do so, until the end of the turn, 1 of your character that is participating in battle gets +2 ATK and [First Defense].

Great card, great picture. You can use this to put your Qualidea Code Extra back face down for an additional use, or use its extremely good defensive options to stall your opponent’s attack.
